The 2025 HiLux features a bold new exterior designed in Australia, with sharper lines, slimmer headlights, and a wider stance that gives it more road presence. Inside, the cabin feels more refined, with a flatter dash for better visibility, upgraded seats for comfort, and a larger 12.3-inch multimedia display across the range.
Toyota has taken safety to the next level with the latest Toyota Safety Sense suite, including upgraded lane-keeping support, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. The new HiLux also debuts Toyota Connected Services, allowing owners to check their vehicle’s health and location from a smartphone app.
While the proven 2.8-litre turbo-diesel remains, the 2025 range introduces 48-volt mild-hybrid technology for smoother starts and better fuel efficiency. Coming soon are even bigger changes: a fully electric HiLux BEV and a hydrogen-powered FCEV variant, giving customers more choice than ever before.
Thanks to electric power steering and improved suspension tuning, the new HiLux offers more responsive handling and reduced cabin vibration. It still feels tough, but now it’s noticeably quieter and more comfortable for daily driving.
